About Thornbridge Brewery

In 2024, when Carlsberg Marston's retired the last of the Burton Unions, a Victorian set of linked oak casks most of the industry had long since given up on, the independent Bakewell brewery Thornbridge stepped in and saved a section of it. They are now the only brewery in the world still fermenting beer this way.

That heritage runs through the whole box. Every beer in it was made on that union set, including Jaipur, the IPA that helped define modern British beer, and The Union, a 7% IPA built for the kit. Alongside them sit a Track collab brown ale, a 7.7% imperial stout and the 1838 pale, with a Union pint glass to drink them from. About as close as you can get to living brewing history in a box.
