The Story of Verdant Brewing Co:
Founded in the autumn of 2014, Verdant Brewing Co was born from the passion of three homebrewers - Adam, James, and Rich. Their mission was simple: craft unique, US-inspired beers that were missing from the local scene. With an unwavering commitment to creating juicy, hoppy, unfiltered, and hazy beers, Verdant quickly made a name for itself. Verdant are all about an uncompromising focus on continuous improvement, flavour, and consistency, with creativity sitting at the core of everything they do. Independent, and always will be, allowing them to push boundaries in the pursuit of better beer experiences
A Journey of Growth and Innovation
What started as a small operation in Falmouth soon gained a loyal following. Their success led to a significant milestone in January 2020 when Verdant raised funds through a crowdfunding campaign, allowing them to expand into a brand new brewery in Penryn. The move marked a new chapter, not just in scale, but also in the ability to push creative boundaries.
In their new home, they’ve built a bespoke brewing kit in collaboration with the experts at SSV Limited, keeping their production process efficient and their beers consistently excellent. While their brew length is still a modest 40hl, it allows for three brewing cycles in a 12-hour span. This setup enables Verdant to deliver quality and consistency while still embracing the creativity that has defined their brand.

The Essence of Verdant’s Beers
What sets Verdant apart is their deep dive into hop exploration and the creation of beers that are both flavourful and drinkable.
Pale Ales:
Verdant’s Pale Ales are the heart of their hop exploration. Here, they focus on new and varied hop combinations, always seeking to enhance drinkability and the true expression of hop character and aroma. With a clean yet full-bodied base, these beers are perfectly balanced with optimized hop saturation, ensuring every sip is packed with flavour.
IPAs:
When it comes to IPAs, Verdant explores the boundaries of the New England style - a style known for its juicy, hazy finish and rich hop profile. These beers are a delicate balance of hop saturation and drinkability, often brewed with oats and wheat for a silky, robust backbone. Expect elevated ABVs that don’t compromise on smoothness and mouthfeel.
DIPAs (Double IPAs):
Verdant’s DIPAs are their most intense and hop-saturated creations. These beers are all about bold flavour and intensity, with a significantly increased dry hop rate and an even bolder grist. The result? A big mouthfeel packed with intense hop character and a higher ABV. Waves of fruit, citrus, pine, stone fruits, and even gooseberry and lime come together to create a complex, flavourful experience that packs a punch.

We are thrilled to have Verdant as a resident brewery on Brewser meaning their 9 can box will always be available.
