Your October Discovery: Tap Social Movement
Meet the team behind Tap Social Movement
We are thrilled to welcome back to Brewser our good friends Tap Social Movement as our Discovery Brewery for October.
Founded in Oxford in 2016, Tap Social Movement is far more than a craft brewery. It’s a social enterprise using great beer and hospitality to help create brighter futures for people in prison and those recently released.
At the heart of Tap Social is a simple belief: everyone deserves a second chance. Through its brewery, bars, cafés and bakery, Tap Social provides training, meaningful paid employment and routes into long-term work – including opportunities for people to begin working while still serving their sentence through day release.
And the impact is pretty incredible.

A little taste of Germany, brewed in Oxford

Ash headed to Oxford to join the guys at Tap Social and get stuck in with the brew day. Ash was super stoked to be brewing a Festbier, a personal favourite style.
This was also the first time Tap Social had brewed a Festbier, with the recipe put together by lead brewer Ross.
Festbier is a traditional 5.2% German-style lager brewed with German pilsner malt, Munich malt, wheat, and the modern German hop Nobella, which accentuates the beer’s noble flavour with a well-rounded bitterness.
A little taste of Germany, brewed in Oxford. Prost! 🍻
Your October Discovery: Tap Social Movement

Tap Social’s Discovery Box brings together some of their much-loved core beers with a handful of seasonal specials – including a brand-new collaboration brewed with Brewser especially for this box.
There’s plenty more to discover across eight beers in each box. The Mixed box features Inside Out, the oatmeal stout awarded two stars at the 2026 Great Taste Awards. In the Lights box, you’ll find Against the Grain, an organic hoppy wit brewed with Stroud Brewery, alongside returning favourite Excluded, a New Zealand IPA.
