ProjectX 2025 - The Uk's Biggest Blind Beer Tasting Event

For years, Brewser’s ProjectX has been about collaboration — brewers coming together to create something special.

Six breweries. Six beers. One shared vision.

But this year, everything changes.

ProjectX 2025 isn’t just another collab series. It’s an experiment. A challenge. A nationwide flavour test that strips away the names, the hype, and the preconceptions — leaving only what really matters: the beer.

The Experiment

Twelve breweries. Twelve beers. One unified label.

We asked twelve of the UK’s best breweries to each brew a beer that represents their signature style — the kind of beer that says “this is us.” Then we did something no one’s ever tried before: we took away the names, the artwork, the identity, and wrapped every can in the same sleek black ProjectX design.

No logos. No hints. No giveaways.

Just pure, unfiltered flavour.

Taste. Guess. Reveal.

When you open your box, you won’t find any familiar faces — just twelve identical black cans, each marked with a single character from PROJECTX 2025. Together, they form a coded collection; a line-up of mystery beers waiting to be discovered.

This isn’t a box you drink quietly on your own (well, you can — but it’s way more fun with mates).

ProjectX is best shared: gather your friends, pour a few blind, debate, argue, guess, and laugh when you’re completely wrong. Because everyone thinks they’ll nail it — and almost nobody does.

Every sip becomes an investigation. That soft, juicy body — Verdant, surely? That crisp bitterness — maybe Burnt Mill? Or that sharp, tangy burst — has to be Vault City, right?

Once you’ve made your calls, head to the ProjectX Portal to submit your guesses, rate the beers, and see how you stack up against the rest of the community.

Get them right, and you’ll be entered into our prize draw to win a year of beer on Brewser. Every vote also helps decide who will be crowned ProjectX 2025 Brewery of the Year.

Why It Matters

In a world of hype and hero labels, ProjectX flips the script. It takes beer back to its essence — aroma, balance, texture, taste.

Blind tasting is the great equaliser. It removes bias, sparks conversation, and reminds us that great beer doesn’t need a label to stand out.

It’s humbling, surprising, and wildly fun — especially when you’re sharing it with friends and everyone’s convinced they’ve guessed the right brewery.

And that’s what makes ProjectX 2025 so exciting: it’s not just a box of beer, it’s an experience. A conversation starter. A reason for beer lovers across the country to come together, taste together, and rediscover the joy of beer without bias.

This is beer discovery, gamified — a social tasting experience that’s as much about connection as it is about craft.

The Line-Up

This year’s line-up features an extraordinary selection of modern UK brewing:

Cloudwater, Padstow, Verdant, Burnt Mill, Wild Horse, Vault City, Elusive, Left Handed Giant, Amity, Beak, Weekend Project, and Brew Yonder.

Between them, they’ve brewed:

2 × DIPA | 1 × Imperial Stout | 1 × West Coast IPA | 1 × Red Ale | 5 × IPA | 1 × Sour | 1 × Porter

Twelve breweries. Twelve beers. One black-label mystery.

Get Involved

Boxes ship Thursday 11 December — and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

So grab your friends, set up a tasting night, and see who really knows their beer.

Film it, share it, tag your guesses, and join the conversation online.

Because in ProjectX 2025, it’s not about who brewed it — it’s about who can taste it.
