Cloudwater started brewing for a market that was remarkably different from the one we know and love today. We introduced British beer drinkers to hazy pales and IPAs, ultra-modern DIPAs, 440ml cans, successions of new beer experiences with our sole focus on one-off beers, changing artwork that was bold in its use of subtlety, UK brewers cutting it on an international craft beer stage, and behind all that we’ve offered more support to more causes, charities, and businesses than many of our peers combined.

It’s common to look at Cloudwater, and all the work we’ve done and think we’re now some kind of massive company, but we’re several times smaller than many of our peers, and we’ve never produced more beer than our good friends at The Kernel, any year we’ve been in production. Despite our small size, we’ve punched well above our weight. Close to 80% of the collaborations brewed elsewhere in the world with UK breweries have been with us – that’s over 100 beers in the USA, made by some of the best of the best. All that because we love this country’s heritage, and love the scene we’re part of today, and we want more people to know and love it too!
Today’s beer world is very, very well supplied with all manner of beers – from the most niche possible, to perfectly made and very accessible beers too, but there’s still an incredible number of flavour combinations and possibilities. Despite brewing nearly 400 unique recipes so far we’re still just as excited as we ever were to try new things.

We hope you’re thrilled with the beers from us, and we’d love to hear from you about what you’d like to see from us next!
