About Tempest Brewing Co
You know the Tempest history by now - began life in a garage in New Zealand… knocked out a few home brews using local hops… travelled the world... moved to Scotland… built a brewery… refreshed the palates and minds of beer drinkers everywhere.
That's obviously only half the story and rather aptly, the name Tempest was a pre-emptive strike against the tempestuous nature of brewing and the unpredictability of what lay ahead. To help weather that tempest, they followed a simple philosophy of making the best beer from the best ingredients with uncopromising levels of quality, consistency and freshness; principles that they've never deviated from to this day.
Despite settling down in the beautiful Scottish Borders, that globetrotting spirit has lived on, their beers take inspiration from all corners of the earth as well as the changing seasons and surrounding nature. In 2019, Tempest became the first UK brewery to join 1% for the planet.
