About Alter Ego Brewing Co

Alter Ego Brewing Co started life in 2018 on a 2.5bbl brew kit producing cask beer for the local area. Founded by Matt an avid homebrewer who took every homebrewers dream of starting a commercial brewery and turned it into reality.

From day one our artwork has been created by Matt's good friend Ste who has a background in graphics and self published comics. In 2021 Ste joined the brewery full time and we upgraded to a 6bbl brew kit and started packaging our beer into cans and kegs. Since then we have won a number of awards including SIBA Bottle & Can National GOLD for our West Coast DIPA Disappear Completely and a number of regional awards for our cask beer. We also open our brewery once a month for people to come and drink at the source :)
