About Brick Brewery
It all started in a shed, no joke! Ian, started home brewing in his garden shed, building recipes inspired by his most loved beers. We loved it, our mates loved it, the shed was bursting at the seams, it was time to move to bigger premises. In 2013 Brick was born, and we started building a brewery in a railway arch behind Peckham Rye station, SE London.
You’ll still find our Taproom in Peckham but we’ve since outgrown the arch. We’re now brewing a couple of miles away in Deptford, still independent and family owned.
We aim to release a monthly one-off sour beer in a 330ml can. Styles range from anything between a Gose, Florida Weisse to an Imperial Sour. Always using the best ingredients with a focus on fruit while never shying away from teas, spices or a good old bit of foraging.
We also release a regular one-off Hop-Forward beer in a 440ml can. This series is all about showcasing the wonderful world of hops. Table Beers to Pales to DIPAs, East to West and everything in between. This series also give us a great platform to experiment with yeast and malt.
Sustainability
Driving towards and close to achieving a plastic free Taproom. For many years now 100% of our spent grain has been collected by a local farmer to feed his cattle.
